Undergraduate Admission
You Are Different. So Are We.
Sarah Lawrence College was founded in 1926 and has been different from the very beginning.
At Sarah Lawrence, you take educational ownership from day one as you work with professors to design a unique academic program driven by your intellect and individual interests. Classes are small (an average of 11 students), and the 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio drops to 1:1 every other week as you engage your professors in private tutorials. Sarah Lawrence students enjoy a vibrant community on a beautiful campus that happens to be less than a half hour from the abundant resources of New York City.
