Student Employment

x2570—Westlands, first floor in Financial Aid office

The Student Employment Office is the central point for information about on- and off-campus job opportunities for all students. Undergraduate students who are awarded College work-study positions as part of their financial aid package are given priority for on-campus placements during the first month of classes. After that time, any student may be considered for an on-campus job.

There are several non-teaching graduate assistantships available for graduate students. These positions are usually filled in the first week of classes. Contact the Graduate Studies or Student Employment offices for additional information.

Off-campus opportunities are posted on the Student Employment bulletin board located outside the Office of Student Affairs in Bates. Local job postings might include tutoring, clerical positions, and baby-sitting, among others. Students may also log on to www.monstertrak.com for a listing of on-campus student employment positions. See the Student Employment Handbook for more information.
