Meet the Office of Career Services Staff
Angela Cherubini, Director
Angela provides career counseling to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as alumnae/i. She provides career advisement related to internship and job search, as well as tips on networking, interviewing, and applying to graduate and professional schools. Her passion is to help students and alumnae/i discover their own passions and find a career that complements their personality, interests, and values.
Anne Marie Damiani, Associate Director, Career Development
Anne Marie provides career counseling to students and alumnae/i in all stages of the career development process. She finds it rewarding to assist students in clarifying their interests, strengths, and goals and discovering new career and internship opportunities. She advocates for people to follow their heart and find meaningful work. Anne Marie is also a firm believer of Confucius’ saying, “Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
Katherine Bradshaw, Assistant Director, Internship Program Manager
Katherine is in charge of the Career Services Internship Program, providing SLC students the opportunity to get hands on experience in industries of interest. She believes interning is an important component to academic pursuits and works towards not only building a robust database of opportunities, but establishing relationships with local and nationwide industry leaders to meet the varied students’ interests. Katherine has her M.S. degree in Guidance and Counseling and has worked in corporate human resources, recruiting, and career counseling prior to joining the OCS. Her internship knowledge and career services expertise will help guide the Internship Program to support student needs.
Leslie DeWaters, Administrative Assistant
Leslie is the first person you will see when you come in to the Office of Career Services. She oversees CareerLink, SLC’s online internship and job database, and can answer questions about navigating and utilizing the site. Leslie has her M.S. degree in Guidance and Counseling and has worked in corporate customer service, client relations, and marketing prior to joining Sarah Lawrence’s Career Services Department. She hopes to help students achieve their career aspirations by providing support and guidance on each aspect of the internship and job search.
Meet with Us
Appointments and walk-in hours are offered to undergraduates, graduates, and alumni. Phone appointments and email consultations are also available for those who reside outside the area. Meet with a career counselor for assistance with defining career goals, exploring internships, reviewing job searching strategies, applying to graduate school, writing a resume, drafting a cover letter, and learning interview strategies through practice interviews.
