Thank you to everyone—all 584 of you!—who joined us for Family & Friends Weekend. The glorious weather and changing colors of our leafy campus provided the perfect backdrop for fun and connection.
The weekend kicked off with Celebrate SLC, a showcase of student and faculty work. Held at the Heimbold Visual Arts Center, it offered guests an immersive look at student work in dance, film, music, visual arts, science, psychology, and more.
On Saturday, President Cristle Collins Judd offered the latest campus updates alongside Dave Stanfield and Provost Kanwal Singh. Sports fans were treated to a swim meet and a women's volleyball match, and a number of panels took place on topics such as professional and community engagement and exploring life outside the classroom. A family reception in the backyard of the President’s House was the perfect precursor to a Family Fun Night in the Campus Center.
A highlight of the weekend was a Skeleton Tour of Raushenbush Castle, known outside of spooky season as the Esther Raushenbush Library. If you missed it, or want to experience the magic again, check out this TikTok tour!
Thanks to everyone who worked hard to make the weekend a success, and to all of you who joined us!
