Emergency Notification Systems
The College's emergency notification system requires that all users sign up each year to update their information and change their passwords. We need to be able to let you know within minutes if there are emergencies like life threatening situations, campus-wide fires, floods, or power outages.
For weather related closings or time sensitive emergencies, this is our main form of notification. Therefore, if there is a weather closing this is the only way we'll be letting you know that your classes are cancelled.
It will take you less than five minutes to sign up at http://www.campusalerts.com/sarahlawrencecollege/. Once at the Web site, use your official college e-mail for the school e-mail address. Your temporary password is your SLC ID number without the leading zeros. You choose how you would like to be notified (e-mail, text and/or phone). Please note that the phone number you enter should not be your campus telephone. Using your dorm or office number will clog the campus phone system since this is a mass notification system. You may enter any other telephone number including your cell phone or home phone. The emergency notification system is only utilized in emergency situations.

If you are not able to get into the system, please e-mail Larry Hoffman.
