Internships

An internship is an on-site learning experience in a work setting related to your interests. Placements exist in every job field from art to zoology. The benefits of interning are widely recognized, and approximately one-third of all Sarah Lawrence students participate in this popular career program.

Your first step in finding an interesting internship or summer job is to work through our Career Planning section to decide what kind of job best suits you, and then explore Self-Marketing for advice on how to present yourself professionally. Finally, check out our Internship links, as well as our Job Search links.

Searching for a Job or Internship

Get linked to CareerLink, your online connection to employers for jobs and internships. To access our opportunities, visit MySLC and follow the log in instructions. Once registered, you can search for jobs and internships posted specifically for SLC students, and also search the NaceLink Network (JobCentral, SimplyHired and Indeed) for additional jobs and internships. Please note that your resume needs to be critiqued and "approved" by a career counselor prior to submission.
