Writing faculty member Vijay Seshadri has won the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. He received the honor for his “3 Sections,” which the Pulitzer committee described as “a compelling collection of poems that examine human consciousness, from birth to dementia, in a voice that is by turns witty and grave, compassionate and remorseless.” The Wall Street Journal, The Times of India, The Journal News, and a number of other media covered the story.
