Entrepreneurship immersion pilot program SLCeeds launches

Sarah Lawrence College recently launched SLCeeds, an entrepreneurship immersion pilot program. Through SLCeeds, students have the unique opportunity to develop an entrepreneurial idea to pitch-readiness through a series of lectures, workshops, mentoring, live pitches, and a boot-camp designed to stimulate and mold ideas. The program will facilitate teams of students coalescing around business and/or social problems they are interested in solving. Projects can be for-profit, not-for-profit, or socially conscious in nature and can be an extension of previous or current conference work, or stem from individual interests.

On Tuesday, February 12, a group of students gathered for an Idea Generation Workshop, where they gained insight on innovation and creative thinking from guest speaker Richard Harriman, a social innovation and strategy master at Sinecticsworld.
