In 1994, Oregon passed the controversial Death with Dignity Act, legalizing physician-assisted dying. What has this act meant in practice? To complement the panel discussion, the award-winning film How to Die in Oregon will be shown in the Donnelley Film Theatre in the Heimbold Visual Arts Center at 5 p.m. To register for the screening and/or panel, please e-mail collegeevents@sarahlawrence.edu or call (914) 395-2412.
