Professor Emeritus at the Institute for Advanced Study since 1980, Michael Walzer has published 27 books and more than 300 articles. He is a co-editor of Dissent Magazine, a contributing editor at The New Republic, and has written for The New York Review of Books, The New York Times, The New Yorker and Harper's.
