ARCHIVED: Sarah Lawrence Alumnus Richard Morais to Read from his Acclaimed Novel The Hundred-Foot Journey, October 29

The Hundred-Foot JourneyRichard C. Morais, author of The Hundred-Foot Journey (Scribner 2010), will read from his acclaimed first novel on Friday, October 29 at 6 p.m. in the Donnelley Theatre in the Heimbold Visual Arts Center, Sarah Lawrence College. Morais is a 1981 graduate of the College.

The event celebrates the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Friends of the Sarah Lawrence College Library and is free and open to the public. A book signing and reception will follow Morais’ reading. For further information and reservations, please call (914) 395-2412 or e-mail .

Born in Portugal, Morais lived much of his life in Switzerland before attending Sarah Lawrence. Much of his career as a journalist was at Forbes magazine, including serving as European Bureau Chief from 1998-2003.
