The College has been mentioned in several news and opinion pieces surrounding both the annual rankings released by U.S. News and World Report and a new rankings effort by Forbes magazine. Among the stories was one in Inside Higher Education. Sarah Lawrence was for a second year listed in an "unranked" category in U.S. News, although a feature story, based on a poll of high school guidance counselors, includes SLC in a separate ranking.
