Director of the Joan Marks Graduate Program in Human Genetics Caroline Lieber discussed the role of the genetic counselor in family decision-making related to genetic testing for inherited diseases on National Public Radio.

Lieber was also quoted in a press release issued by Attorney General Andrew Cuomo on new agreements with Columbia University Medical Center and New York-Presbyterian Hospital ensuring that patients can make educated decisions about genetic testing.
