The celebrated dance company performs a program entitled Dancing Through Barriers on Friday, February 4 at 8:00 p.m. at Reisinger Hall on the Sarah Lawrence campus. The program uses "the art of dance to ignite the mind," breaking through racial, economic, personal and geographic barriers. Founded in 1969 by Arthur Mitchell and Karel Shook, Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) remains a major dance institution of unparalleled acclaim 30 years later.
