New at Sarah Lawrence - The College Welcomes Two to the Student Affairs Staff

joined the College in July as the new dean of student affairs. She came from Saint Mary's College of California, in Moraga, east of Oakland, where she had been dean of student life for four years. Before that, she served as director of student activities and then assistant dean of students at Dickinson College, in Carlisle, Pa. She also worked in administration, including as director of student activities, at Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles. Mary earned a B.A. in anthropology at Occidental College, in Los Angeles, and her M.S. in college student personnel administration at Indiana University, and currently is completing her EdD. in Educational Leadership at Saint Mary's College of California.
became the College's first director of diversity and campus engagement on July 18. Previously, she had been interim assistant dean of multicultural programs at Marquette University in Milwaukee for a year, following five years as coordinator of the health careers opportunity program at Marquette's School of Dentistry. Her background also includes recruiting for the Upward Bound Program at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and three years with the Boy Scouts of America. Natalie has a B.A. in African American Studies and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, both from Marquette.
