Trustee News
At its May 2006 meeting, the Board of Trustees honored retiring trustees Jeff Engel '84 and Carl Goldfischer '80. Suzanne Wright '98 also retired and will now serve as an honorary trustee.
Three new trustees have joined the Board:
Ellen Schloss Flamm '59 is a general partner of Omega Communications, Inc., an Indianapolis-based cable television company founded by her father. She is a supporter of the Jewish Museum and various Jewish charities in Israel and New York City.
Michael Sartisky '73 is the president and executive director of the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities. He is the founding editor of the award-winning quarterly magazine, Louisiana Cultural Vistas, and has won several awards for editorial writing.
Shelley D. Schorsch, mother of Nick '08, has most recently served as senior vice president of American Financial Realty Trust, a real estate investment firm. Prior to that, she co-founded American Financial Realty Group (AFRG) and served as its chief creative officer, and has held various senior management positions in corporate communications, business development and brand strategy.
