Curator, Baltimore, Maryland

I'm the senior curator of painting and sculpture at the Baltimore Museum of Art, where I've been a curator for over thirty years. One of my primary focuses has been the American painter, Theodore Robinson. Robinson was a long-time friend of Claude Monet and an important painter in his own right. I'm currently finishing a catalogue raisonné of Robinson's work. Sarah Lawrence provided me endless opportunities. When I needed art history 101 to meet grad school requirements, Philip Gould kindly gave me a private class. I had a rather sheltered upbringing, and SLC really opened the world to me.
