Strachan Donnelley, member of the Board of Trustees from 1981–89 and honorary Trustee since 1989, died on July 12, 2008.

Norman Dello Joio, who taught music from 1945–51, died on July 24, 2008.

Cynthia L. Ice ’79, coordinator of housing and student activities from 1981–83, died on May 14, 2008.

David Rubin, faculty emeritus who taught literature and writing from 1964–1984, died on February 2, 2008.
