Reunion 2006 - Come Back, Come Back!
At Reunion 2005–June 2-4, fifteen scintillating seminars and panels, two breakfasts (in the same day!) and all your old friends from school. What more could you want in a reunion? How about:
A talk about germs. At the weekend's keynote seminar, The Global Health Crisis, health economist Dr. Rick Berzon '76 and researcher/professor Dr. W. Ian Lipkin '74 will discuss the challenges and opportunities that infectious-and emerging-diseases pose to us in our time.
A new home. For the CCE and the Health Advocacy and Human Genetics graduate programs, that is. Get a sneak peek of 45 Wrexham Road at a reception and open house on Friday afternoon. CCE, Health Advocacy and Human Genetics grads will also want to attend the Saturday morning panel on the "Fox in the Henhouse: Privatization and the Threat to Democracy," featuring Elizabeth Kamarck Minnich '65, former CCE director.
Peer (Art) Review. Admire the work of your fellow alums-and the gallery space at the new Heimbold Visual Arts Center-at the Alumnae/i Art Exhibit.
Campus Tours. Visit your old stomping grounds-and maybe some new ones. The tours will explore the campus from the renovated Bates to the Campbell Sports Center, and everywhere in between.
An election where your vote will count. At the Annual Meeting and Luncheon, you can help elect the Alumnae/i Association board, applaud the Achievement and Service Citation winners, and satisfy the appetite you worked up on that campus tour-all at once.
A Gala at the United Nations. Enjoy cocktails, dinner and dancing in the Delegates Dining Room on Saturday night. Go ahead, pretend you're Boutrous Boutrous-Gali. We won't tell.
