Dear International Student,

Please download the Sarah Lawrence College Financial Statement for International Students. If you decide to matriculate at Sarah Lawrence (and we hope you do!), you should download and fill this out and return it to us by June 1, or as soon as possible, by express mail or airmail. When we receive this Financial Statement and other documents, we will send your I-20 form, which will then enable you to apply for your F-1 student visa. This is required of all holders of non-US passports for entry into the United States.

If you are a dual national (U.S. citizen/another nationality) or a permanent resident of the U.S. (green card holder), you do not need an F-1 visa.

** Please note that as of September 2004, there is a congressionally mandated $100 fee for international students to cover the costs of the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP). You should go to the Web site (www.ice.gov/graphics/sevis) and click on “facts sheet” and “I-901” for more information and to learn how to pay this fee. You will need to show the payment receipt when you apply for your student visa.
