Housing Through Paris Academic Rentals
Paris Academic Rentals offers students a wide range of living arrangements. The Program’s Housing Coordinator makes a concerted effort to match students’ preferences with the housing available. Paris Academic Rentals offers the types of housing listed below.
Homestays
Living in a French household gives students valuable exposure to French language and culture. This can include living with a single person, a couple who may or may not have children, a widow/widower, or a single parent with children. Students have their own bedroom. Kitchen and bathroom facilities are shared with the family. In general, guests are not permitted. Estimated cost: 600-950 euros per month depending on the number of meals shared with the family.

These rooms are furnished and include a hot plate and a small refrigerator. In general, "maid's” rooms contain showers and sinks, but the toilet is situated in the hallway and shared with other residents. Estimated cost: 380-500 euros per month plus utilities.
