Visual and Performing Arts

Paris, a city whose rich traditions and creative life continue to attract artists from all over the world, provides an excellent setting for students to gain a European approach to their studies in an international context. Consistent with the distinction of the visual and performing arts on the Sarah Lawrence campus in Bronxville, the Paris Program offers a wide and carefully chosen selection of visual and performing arts courses at various studios, schools and conservatories in and around Paris.

Advanced students who wish to concentrate more than half of their coursework in the arts may consider applying to one of our intensive programs. These specialized and comprehensive programs include academic courses, practical training and outings to performances or exhibits.

All classes are conducted exclusively in French.
