Fall 2012
September 4 General Meeting begins at 10:30 a.m. in Reid Hall.
Attendance is mandatory.
September 4-16 First semester orientation
September 17-December 22 Sarah Lawrence first semester
October 29 – November 4 Fall Break*
December 22 End of classes at Sarah Lawrence*
December 24 – January 20 Holiday Break*

Spring 2013

For second semester-only students:
January 9 General Meeting begins at 10:30 a.m. in Reid Hall.
Attendance is mandatory.
January 9 – 20 Second semester orientation
For all students (year-long and second semester only):
January 21 – May 18 Sarah Lawrence second semester
March 4-17 Winter Break*
April 29-May 12 Spring Break*
May 18 End of classes at Sarah Lawrence *

*Classes in dance and studio arts follow the SLC calendar.

*Students interested in classes at French universities and other "academic" institutions should be aware that their calendars vary:

  • End of the 1st semester: Dec 23rd at Paris 7 and at Sciences Po, January 7th at Paris 4, January  14th  at the Institut Catholique.
  • End of the 2nd semester: May 18th at Sciences Po and the Institut Catholique, May 26th at Paris 4 and Paris 7.

* Please note that classes at some theater and music schools may continue through the third week of June. For more information, consult the schools' Web sites.
