Application Process

The Sarah Lawrence College in Florence program is highly selective, and the number of students is limited. The program is open to juniors and seniors enrolled at any accredited American college or university.

The Office of International Programs can provide further information about the program, and interested students are encouraged to call or visit us. "Veterans" of the Sarah Lawrence Florence Program will be happy to discuss any aspect of the program; names and numbers are available through the Office of International Programs.

As students live with an Italian family, a degree of maturity and personal stability is essential.

Applications & Deadlines

All information required for admission is contained in the downloadable application form. Completed applications, including letters of recommendation, academic interest statement, study abroad approval, official transcripts, and application fee (guest students only) are due as follows:

  • February 1 (for fall/academic year applicants)
  • October 1 (for spring applicants)
