Application Process

Study in CataniaThe Sarah Lawrence College in Catania program is offered in the Spring semester, and is highly selective. Students must have completed the equivalent of advanced intermediate Italian to be considered for this program. The program is open to juniors and seniors enrolled at any accredited American college or university. 

The Office of International Programs can provide further information about the program, and interested students are encouraged to call or visit us. "Veterans" of the Sarah Lawrence Catania Program will be happy to discuss any aspect of the program; names and numbers are available through the Office of International Programs.

Sarah Lawrence College admits students without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, disability, national and ethnic origin. As students live with an Italian family, a degree of maturity and personal stability is essential.

These applications may be completed online but must be printed and submitted to the International Programs Office at Sarah Lawrence College.

Application Deadline

Completed application forms, letters of recommendation, academic interest statement, study abroad approval, official transcripts and application fee are due as follows:
