General Information
Discover summer at Sarah Lawrence College and our distinctive, intensive programs of study. Whatever your interests, Sarah Lawrence will help you enhance your academic experience and explore your passions. Our small class sizes will give you an exceptional opportunity to learn in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Students in every class will have two individual conferences with their instructor, a distinguishing component of the unique Sarah Lawrence education.
We offer a five-week course in filmmaking and three-week courses in musical theatre, creative writing, and a three-week program on the literature and history, theatre, and architecture of New York City. Students must be entering the 10th, 11th or 12th grades in the fall of 2011.
Full-Day Courses
The five-week filmmaking intensive classes are held during the day Monday through Saturday with some evening classes. For the three-week day courses, classes are held during the day Monday through Friday only. Students in the full-day courses are eligible to live on campus.
