Summer Writer's Workshop: General Information

Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 10, 2009
Note: Sarah Lawrence College does not provide living accommodations for participants.
Ages
The program is open to students entering the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades in fall 2009.
Hours
Program hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Facilities
All workshops take place on the Sarah Lawrence campus, a 10-minute walk from the town of Bronxville, just 30 minutes north of Midtown Manhattan. The 44-acre wooded campus provides an ideal setting for young writers. Throughout the week, students have access to the College's Esther Raushenbush Library for work and study. The Ruth Leff Siegel Center is open for food and beverage purchases throughout the week.
Tuition & Scholarships
$500 (plus a $25 nonrefundable application fee).
A limited number of partial scholarships are available. Please enclose a letter with the application requesting that the student be considered for a scholarship. Be sure to include the student's name on the letter.
