Summer Writer's Workshop: General Information
Dates: Monday, July 7 to Friday, July 11, 2008
Ages: The program is open to students entering the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades in fall 2008.
Hours: Program hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tuition & Scholarships: $425 (plus a $25 nonrefundable application fee).
A limited number of partial scholarships are available. Please enclose a letter with the application requesting that the student be considered for a scholarship. Be sure to include the student’s name on the letter.
To Apply: Download, complete and return the application form and the $25 nonrefundable application fee to: Debra Finkelstein, Director of College Events and Summer Programs, Office of College Events, Sarah Lawrence College, 1 Mead Way, Bronxville, NY 10708-5999. Limited spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will be accepted until the program is filled (including a short wait-list).

Facilities
All workshops take place on the Sarah Lawrence campus, a 10-minute walk from the town of Bronxville, just 30 minutes north of Midtown Manhattan.The 40-acre wooded campus provides an ideal setting for young writers.Throughout the week, students have access to the College’s Esther Raushenbush Library for work and study. The Ruth Leff Siegel Center is the site of readings and informal gatherings.
