Students in every class will have two individual conferences with their instructor, a distinguishing component of the unique Sarah Lawrence education.

We offer a five-week course in filmmaking; three-week day courses in theatre, music, and the visual arts; and a three-week program on the literature and history, filmmaking, and science of New York City. Our evening classes include courses in science, essay and fiction writing (two sections), and screenwriting. New in 2009, we will be offering a poetry workshop held one night each week and culminating in a student reading on Wednesday, July 29.
