Health Advocacy Careers Roundtable

Careers in Health Advocacy are on the cutting edge of the rapidly changing health care field. Health Advocates work for positive change that improves people's lives in fulfilling and meaningful careers as patient advocates, educators, ombudsmen, health information specialists, community and environmental health advocates, and policymakers.

Keep pace with the demands of the complex and evolving health care system—join us at the Health Advocacy Careers Roundtable. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Explore careers in health advocacy
  • Meet health advocacy professionals and learn about the roles they have within health care
  • Engage in discussion about health advocacy issues
  • Learn about the impact of health advocacy today

The Health Advocacy Careers Roundtable will include presentations, interactive discussion, and networking opportunities. Panelists include:

Sarah Lawrence is a pioneer in the field of health advocacy. The College's graduate program is the nation's first master's degree in health advocacy and remains the foremost academic program in this field, preparing graduates for leadership roles. We are located twenty minutes north of Manhattan.

Registration

Registration is required by May 25, 2012. Seating is limited, so early registration is advised.

Registration Fee: $25.
Discounted fee for students: $10 (ID required)
All registration fees include breakfast and lunch
