Master of Science in the Art of Teaching
About the Art of Teaching

The Art of Teaching is a master’s program with three New York State certification tracks:
- Early Childhood Education (birth to second grade)
- Childhood Education (first to sixth grade)
- Dual Early Childhood/Childhood Education.
Working together in seminar classes, students receive individual attention from faculty as they connect their teaching experiences in schools with theoretical and practical ideas in education. The Art of Teaching is designed as an integrated program of study, enabling graduates to enter the field with a clearly articulated understanding of teaching and learning.
