Do you ever wonder if the bowling alley is still around? Do you contemplate if your top swim time is still the campus record? Do you speculate if your favorite faculty member is still on campus? Do you wonder who the next generations of students are? Do you think about how you can help SLC? The Sarah Lawrence Student Phonathon Team is here to provide answers to all your questions.

From August to June, the SLC Phonathon Team reaches out to alumni, parents, and friends to thank you for your support, to answer your questions about the College, to provide information about events relevant to you, and to encourage you to support the College financially. Students witness firsthand what your donations can do, from faculty support and special academic programs to student scholarships and campus enhancements. When you answer a student’s call you can hear for yourself how your financial support is affecting a current student’s education and their future.

The SLC student callers are also eager to hear about the experiences of our alumni. We ask you not only to contribute to the College but to the conversation. Great connections are made through Phonathon!

Local businesses incentivize our student fundraisers by donating gift cards when students reach a fundraising goal. This is SLC’s and the local community’s way of expressing gratitude for the students' hard work fundraising for the College's annual needs.

As of September 30, 2012 the following students have reached a fundraising milestone:

As of September 30, 2012, the Phonathon team has raised $31,909. Thank you to everyone who supports our student callers and Sarah Lawrence College.

How can you support the SLC Student Phonathon Team?

• Take our call! Ask us questions about the College; update us on your contact information and what you are doing.
• Make a meaningful gift.

Our Goal
Our student callers want to raise over $200,000 for the College. The money raised by the students will go to The Fund for Sarah Lawrence and will provide critical support for faculty resources, academic programs, student scholarship, and campus enhancements.

Phonathon calling is a wonderful way for all members of the SLC community to connect, and it provides the perfect opportunity for parents and alumni to show directly to our current students how much SLC means to them and show their support directly to students.
