Recipient of a Hawthornden fellowship (2008) and current chair of the Scottish Literature Discussion Group of the Modern Language Association. Author of essays published in Romanticism’s Debatable Lands (Palgrave, 2007), Keats-Shelley Journal, Pequod, Edinburgh Companion to Contemporary Scottish Literature (Edinburgh University Press, 2007), and elsewhere.
