PhD, Latin American Literature and Visual Culture, New York University, with the dissertation: "Estrategias de las escrituras del yo en Iberoamérica contemporánea". Area of specialization: modern and contemporary Latin American literature, with a special focus on South America. Interests in literature and film; life writing; women, gender, and sexuality studies; crossings among memory, gender, and political violence; trans-Atlantic studies; performance and visual culture. Founder and director of Perufest: Festival of New Peruvian Cinema. Articles, essays, and short stories published in several books and journals. Editor of the anthology "Voces para Lilith. Literatura contemporánea de temática lésbica en Sudamérica" (Editorial Estruendomudo: Lima, 2011). "La sangre de la aurora" (Animal de invierno: Lima, 2013) is her first novel. SLC, 2011-
