BA, University of Connecticut. MA, St. John’s College. MA, PhD, Tulane University. Interests include the Greek understanding of providence and its role in the emergence of philosophy, as well as the reception of Socratic philosophy in modernity in the works of Descartes, Rousseau, and Nietzsche. Recently published an article entitled, “Hesiod: Man, Law and Cosmos,” and currently working on essays on Nietzsche’s Twilight of the Idols and topics in early Greek thought. SLC, 2013–
