MFA, Brown University. Poet; author of The Maverick Room; “The Good Junk” (from Take Three #1); two chapbooks, The Genuine Negro Hero and Song On; and the forthcoming Quotes Community: Notes for Black Writers. Co-founder of the Dark Room Collective and the recipient of a Mrs. Giles Whiting Writers Award, as well as fellowships from Yaddo and the MacDowell Colony.
