Holly Bass '93 was a guest on NPR's Tell Me More on April 2, 2013.  She has directed and choreographed Keepin' It Moving to be performed April 13, 2013 at 8 p.m. at Reston Centerstage, Fairfax, VA.

Laurel Tentindo '01 will perform Vicky Shick's "Everything You See'  at 8 p.m. on April 18-20, 2013 at Danspace Project, St. Mark's Church in the Bowery, 131 East 10th St., New York.

Jules Skloot MFA '08 will perform in Katy Pyle's "The Firebird, a Ballez" at 8 p.m. May 16-18, 2013 at Danspace Project, St. Mark's Church in the Bowery, 131 East 10th St., New York.

Teresa Fellion MFA '11 and her group Bodies Stories: Teresa Fellion Dance will be performing "The Mantises are Flipping (P.S. I'll have whatever they're having)" on May 5, 2013 between 11 - 6 at Dance for DNA Day (280 Broadway, 2nd Floor, and at 8pm at WAH Festival 135 Broadway, Williamsburg, NY). They will perform four improvisational scores on May 18, 2013 from 3 - 6 p.m. at the Jane Bailey Memorial Garden, 327-329 Greene Ave., Brooklyn, NY.

Sara Hurz Dancers, the company of Sarah Hertzberg '12, was at Judson Church, NYC on Wednesday April 3 as part of the Stuffed series.

Julia Planine-Troiani ’07 performed with "Sheila," a site specific work with Ate9 Dance Company at ArtShare in Los Angeles, CA on April 4.

Cathy Appel '80 is now the director of SLC's newest graduate program, MS in Dance/Movement Therapy.

Jon Kinzel MFA '09 performed with fellow alum Enrico Wey at Danspace Project, NYC April 4-6.

Abby Block '02 performed in Ursula Eagly's "Self Made Man Man Made Land" at the Chocolate Factory, NYC, March 27-30.

Sarah Fiske MFA '10 led a workshop entitled "Movement Begins in the Bones" as part of Collage Theatre on March 9 in San Francisco.

Blair Brodie MFA '06 will be performing in "Confessions of a White Girl" March 22-24 at the Dance Mission in San Francisco.

Kate Kernochan '11, Kay Ottinger '10, and Larissa Sheldon '10 have formed Articulate Processes to provide motivation, community, and collaboration in pursuit of independent explorations pertaining to anatomy. Next class is March 17 at Chez Bushwick, Brooklyn.

Pam Tanowitz MFA '98 premiered a new ballet "Short Memory" for New York Theatre Ballet at Florence Gould Hall in New York City on Friday, February 22, 2013.

Aaron Mattocks BA '02 is performing with Mikhail Baryshnikov in Annie-B Parson & Paul Lazar/Big Dance Theater's production of a "Man in a Case," February 21 to March 24, 2013, at Hartford Stage, Hartford, Connecticut. Mattocks is also assistant director of the production.

Jon Kinzel MFA '09 directs Jean Butler in her solo performance "Hurry" at Danspace Project, New York City, March 7–9, 2013.

Rashaun Mitchell BA '00 premieres a new work "Interface" at the Baryshnikov Arts Center, March 14–15, 2013.

Milka Djordjevich MFA '05 will present a new work "Kinetic Makeover" April 10–13, 2013 at the Chocolate Factory Theater, Long Island City.

Jennifer Monson '83 performed "iLAND: Live Dancing Archive" at the Kitchen in New York City, February 14–16 & 21–23, 2013.

Sarah Rosner '08 and The A. O. Movement Collective will show ETLE_in.process, a work in progress on April 15, 2013 as part of Movement Research at Judson Church in New York City.

Maxine Sherman MFA'12, producer of River Arts in Westchester County, NY, will present the work of Rashaun Mitchell '00 at the Claudia Boettcher Theater at the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, NY, on May 11, 2013. The program will include a new work choreographed on current SLC students. Sherman also reconstructed Martha Graham's "Primitive Mysteries" with SLC students in the fall of 2012. In addition to December 2012 performances at the College, the dancers performed at the Joyce Theater, New York City on February 23, 2013.

Faculty

Sara Rudner choreographed Chris Janney's "HeartBeat" at a fundraiser for the American Heart Association in Washington, DC on Saturday, February 23, 2013. Performers included Ashley Byler MFA '07, Lynne Schlesinger MFA '07, Jules Skloot MFA '08, Hadar Ahuvia '10, and Chia Ying Kao MFA '12.

Meira Goldberg (La Meira) has curated "100 Years of Flamenco in New York," an exhibit for the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. This exhibition will be on display from March 13–August 3, 2013.

Kathy Westwater MFA '01 is continuing her "Shake/Walk" workshops at the Gibney Dance Center, New York City, April 27–May 18, 2013.
