General Information about The Writing Institute
The Writing Institute helps students at all levels of experience move ahead in their writing; offers constructive, supportive, challenging responses to student writing in small classes (12 or fewer students); builds a collegial community of writers; energizes writers who feel stymied; and engages students in the genre or genres they find most enticing. Classes employ the workshop method. Through interaction with skilled faculty and students, participants become better thinkers, listeners, and writers.
Spring 2012 Schedule
Spring 2012 workshops run from the week of February 13 to April 27. (See individual classes for exact dates.) Any special arrangements for holidays will be made by class consensus at the first meeting of the workshop.
