Summer 2014 Programs for High School Students

Summer Pre-College Intensives for High School Students at Sarah Lawrence College

This summer, participate in a unique and life-changing learning experience – one that can only be offered at Sarah Lawrence College.

Summer at SLC consists of summer programs that offer distinctive, intensive programs for students in high school or older on our beautiful campus, just 30 minutes from Midtown Manhattan.

Because these programs are developed by our celebrated faculty and are modeled on the SLC pedagogy of conferencing – your learning experience will be like no other. Summer at SLC offers you a chance to enhance your academic experience and explore your passions in small classes, a hallmark of a Sarah Lawrence education. Our programs foster a supportive, non-competitive environment for academic and personal development.

Students that choose to live on campus will be housed in single rooms in residence halls, giving students an authentic college experience. A residential staff made up of SLC students and recent grads will live among the summer students and serve as mentors. When students are not in class, they can enjoy structured and supervised events on campus and field trips into NYC. Students can also choose not to stay on campus and commute to their classes.
