Nominations for the citations and Young Alumnae/i Award are sought from all alumnae/i and the College community; all nominations are confidential. Preference will be given to nominees from classes ending in 4 and 9 celebrating a milestone Reunion in 2009. The Citation Selection Committee—made up of the Executive Committee of the Alumnae/i Board and the Alumnae/i Representatives of the Board of Trustees—will select the recipients from the nominations. The Citation Selection Committee may choose to award between one and three citations in each category per year, or exercise the option of not selecting anyone to receive either citation, or the award, in a particular year.
Selections will be made in January 2009, and winners will be notified at that time. All three honors will be presented at the Alumnae/i Association’s Annual Meeting and Luncheon during Reunion Weekend, on Saturday, June 6, 2009.
Please complete the nomination form and return it to the Alumnae/i Relations Office no later than November 7, 2008. The Alumnae/i Citation Selection Committee appreciates your participation in this noteworthy Sarah Lawrence tradition.
