Based on the teachings of Joseph Pilates, these “mat” classes are designed to condition and connect mind and body, and improve alignment, flexibility, and muscle strength. Pilates technique focuses on strengthening the body’s core through a series of controlled movements performed with fluidity and breath. This class combines gentle yoga stretches with the Pilates technique, resulting in long, limber, toned, and well-balanced muscles.
