Everyone's body is different. Viniyoga is based on an ancient yoga lineage that is sensitive to these differences, concentrating on finding individual adaptations for poses so that each person's innate abilities are enhanced without compromising joints and ligaments that might have limitations. This class emphasizes the breath; you will learn how to breathe the Viniyoga way, and coordinate movement with the breath, to help you get the most out of your yoga practice. Come join us to increase your energy and sense of calm to help you get through your busy week, at the same time improving your flexibility and strength. Designed for anyone—with or without previous yoga experience.
Stephanie Harding has a 500-hour teaching certification from the American Viniyoga Institute, plus a 100-hour certificate in Anatomy for Yoga from the Breathing Project in NYC. She has been practicing yoga for 17 years.
