General Information about The Writing Institute
The Writing Institute helps students at all levels of experience move ahead in their writing; offers constructive, supportive, challenging responses in small classes (14 or fewer students); builds a collegial community of writers; energizes writers who feel stymied; and engages students in the genre or genres they find most enticing. Classes employ the workshop method. Through interaction with skilled faculty and students, participants become better thinkers, listeners, and writers.
