WMSDF is three weeks of intensive dance training on the Sarah Lawrence College campus. With coursework in modern and ballet technique, Laban Movement Analysis, Irmgard Bartenieff's Fundamentals, anatomy/kinesiology, yoga, repertory and with performance and composition opportunities, this festival will help you work stronger, deeper and more efficiently than you ever thought possible. WMSDF is a comprehensive approach to dance training that embraces individual needs, backgrounds and aspirations. Our dedicated faculty (including instructors from The Juilliard School, George Mason University, and the Tisch School of the Arts) has worked together for over twelve years helping dancers ranging from beginners to professionals, teachers, and late-career dancers seeking to invigorate their body of knowledge.
Registration Deadline: Though we accept applications until the program is full, please understand there are a limited number of spaces available. (There are a very limited number of spots available for high school students. High school students must be entering the 12th grade in the fall of 2011.)
Full payment is due by Friday, June 10, 2011
