Conferences and Workshops
The Child Development Institute is actively involved in outreach activities that include collaborating with local public school districts to help establish continuing professional development opportunities for teachers and administrators; presenting workshops around the New York area on educational topics; and expanding the CDI office as a resource center for teachers and other professionals. We have a connection with the B.E.P.T. Teacher Center, and have collaborated with the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services, the Westchester Association of the Education of Young Children (WAEYC), the Yonkers Early Childhood Initiative, and the Alliance for Childhood, among others.
