How to Apply - International

Applicants for whom English is not the native language should take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). We also accept the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). If an applicant has attended high school where the classes are taught in English, neither the TOEFL nor the IELTS exams will be required.

TOEFL scores of 600 (paper), 250 (computer), or 100 (internet)—or IELTS scores of 7.0—are the minimum scores for application review. Students for whom time or distance creates a hardship in supplying these results may request an extension.

All application essays and recommendations must be written in English. Transcripts must be translated to English by a professional translation agency.

To begin the application process, please follow the instructions for either first-year or a transfer applicants, depending on your situation.
