Your Sarah Lawrence education.
So just how, and more importantly, why, are we different? Why no grades, why no majors, why isn't "successful" registration to the swiftest? This session introduces you to academic life at Sarah Lawrence. Dean Pauline Watts, who was herself once in your shoes, will talk about the philosophy of a Sarah Lawrence education and the collaborations that students make with dons, faculty and others to create a meaningful educational experience. Dean Al Green will talk about the registration process and about resources available to you throughout the year. And Dean Mary Porter will talk about the what ifs: unexpected things that might happen during registration and how might you handle them. What you learn in this talk will help you get the most from your SLC education for years to come.
